Eight people died and at least 30 others were injured following an explosion registered this Friday (6) at the Hotel Saratoga, in Havana, announced the Cuban presidency.
Havana, Cuba | Photos from the scene of the incident show that a significant part of the building was destroyed, although most of it remains intact.
Cuban authorities have yet to provide details on the cause of the explosion, but local media have circulated the theory that it could have happened when liquefied gas was pumped from a cistern.
