For nearly ten years, Gisèle was unknowingly drugged by her husband, Dominique, who then invited strangers to rape her while she was unconscious. The abuse, which took place from 2011 to 2020, was meticulously documented by Dominique, who filmed the assaults and shared the videos online. The investigation revealed that up to 92 rapes were committed by 51 identified men.

The abuse came to light in 2020 when Dominique was arrested for filming under women’s skirts in a supermarket. The trial, which began on September 2, 2024, has seen Gisèle bravely take the stand to testify against her husband and the other accused men.

The psychological trauma inflicted on Gisèle is profound. She had long complained of unexplained gynecological pain, blackouts, and fatigue, which were later attributed to the drugging and abuse. The trial has also revealed that Dominique secretly filmed their daughters-in-law and possibly drugged their eldest daughter⁵. The family is now grappling with the emotional fallout of these revelations.
