A young man, aged 19, has past away. He was attacked by a group of eight men armed with machetes and baseball bats.
Numan Toprakoğlu, Franco-Turk, 19 at the time of death, has succumbed to his injuries. He was violently attacked by a group of 8 men after leaving a club on August 3.
The assault took place at place early in the morning in the area of Prissé. According to sources, a argument took place because of a woman. Two persons were attacked by eight men in a car.
The attackers damaged the car with baseball bats. The victims tried to flee, but were caught in a municipal park.
Numan Toprakoğlu was violently beaten with a machete and left for dead. He was taken to Dijon University Hospital, where he died around 3 pm on Saturday.
The other victim suffered multiple fractures and serious injuries. Nearly a thousand people, including Numan’s family, paid tribute to him.
Five men were arrested and taken into custody.
On August 6, the five young adults were brought before the courts. They were all charged with murder and aggravated violence following the violent death of Numan Toprakoglu on Saturday in Prissé, report JSL.
