The trial of the nurse Lucy Letby, accused of multiple murdering multiple babies, is set to begin on Tuesday, October 6.

Manchester, UK (SN) | Letby, 32, will face charges for the murders of five (5) boys and two (2) girls, as well as the attempted murders of five (5)boys and five (5) girls, between June 2015 and June 2016.
The accused denies the charges.
She is said to have gone on a year-long killing spree while working in the neonatal unit of the Countess of Chester Hospital in Chester.
A court order prohibits reporting of the identities of surviving and deceased children allegedly attacked by Letby, and prohibits identifying the parents or witnesses connected to the children.
The trial will take place at Manchester Crown Court and is estimated to last up to six (6) months.
