Haïti | At Least 6 Dead In Small Commercial Plane Crash
At least six people were killed in Haiti on Wednesday when a small commercial plane crashed in the city of Carrefour, near the capital.
Port-au-Prince, Haiti | The plane was traveling between the capital, Port-au-Prince, and Jacmel, in the south of the country, Carrefour police chief Pierre Belamy Samedi told AFP.
All five passengers on the plane, including the pilot, died.
The plane crashed, killing a motorcycle taxi driver, and then hitting a truck, causing five serious injuries.
Prime Minister Ariel Henry wrote on Twitter that he was “deeply saddened” by the tragedy, and offered condolences to the victims’ families.
