MN | Jahmari Rice Identified As Victim In Richfield School Shooting, 2 Suspects Arrested, Gun Recovered

Richfield School Shooting | A shooting took place at the South Education Center in Richfield, Minnesota on 1 February.
Authorities started to respond to a call and were at the scene at 12:07pm where they discovered that two students have been shot on the sidewalk near the front entrance of the school,says the press release.
The shooting which occurred outside the South Education Center left one dead and one in critical condition. The scanner had confirmed that the suspects had fled the scene in a car.
The Richfield Police Department release the information that two suspects have been arrested anda handgun has been recovered.
According to the press release, the arrest took place the same day of the shooting, shortly after 6pm. That’s is roughly five hours after the arrival of the authorities at the scene.
Friends have identified the victim as Jahmari Rice. Flowers, ballons and such have been left outside the South Education Center where Jahmari lost hid life.
Jahmari played freshman and sophomore years in the football team. Varsity Football coach confirmed that Rice was in his first week at the South Education Center. He has transfered for “extra support”.
A second person is in critical condition as a result of the shooting. Both students were transported to Hennepin County Medical Center.
