As part of a well-known process, a mugshot had to be taken. In his mugshot, that was released by the Chicago Police Department, Roldan can be seen crying.

Authorities said Roldan shot and killed 18-year-old Adrian Navarro and 23-year-old Destiny Nunez at around 10:30 p.m. on May 21, 2021, at Franklin’s Super Food and Liquors on the 500 block of North Kedzi.

Initial reporting of the incident suggested that Roldan was engaged in an argument with the victims before allegedly shooting the pair.

Nunez was shot in the torso and transported to Stroger Hospital, where she was pronounced dead. Navarro was struck multiple times in the torso and leg and was transported to Norwegian Hospital where he too was pronounced dead.

The image of Roldan crying in his mugshot has begun circulating on social media with some Twitter users dismissing his emotional reaction. Others commented on how his feelings are no longer relevant if he committed the crime and focus should be on the family of the victims.

No other information was provided by police.
