Marina Kokhal Killer of Husband Andy Cartwright Dismembered Him And Kept Parts In Fridge

Rapper Andy Cartwright’s wife Marina Kokhal has admitted cutting up his body with a knife and hacksaw and storing some of his body parts in her fridge.

The rapper was still alive when his wife dismembered him, according to forensic evidence. It’s alleged that rapper Andy Cartwright was having a romantic affair with one of his female fans around the time he died at his home in St Petersburg, Russia.

In November of 2021, Marina Kokhal, the wife of 30-year-old rapper Andy Cartwright arrested for butchering her husband and storing pieces in the fridge from home won the right to await trial in freedom. Marina Kukhal, 36, was arrested last August.

While prosecutors are trying to prove that Marina poisoned her partner, the best forensic scientists in Russia, where the case took place, have been unable to find any traces of harmful substances in the victim’s body parts.

According to reports, she dismembered his body in front of their 2-year-old daughter.

But she has always insisted he died of a drugs overdose and she dismembered his body with a knife and hacksaw so his fans ‘would never find out he died such an inglorious death’. The 37 year-old had planned to tell them he had gone missing.

In October she was released from a detention jail to house arrest but remains the only suspect. New high-tech forensic tests, completed partly on the rapper’s eyes, suggest he died from oxygen starvation – and that the dismembering of his body started when he was still alive, gazeta.ru reports citing informed legal sources.

Many of his organs were disposed of by his wife but the latest scientific evidence indicates the dismembering “occurred shortly – a few minutes, dozens of minutes – before death”. The singer – whose Russian name was Alexander Yushko – “was in a state of pronounced hypoxia” (oxygen deficiency) before he died.

His death may have taken several hours, say reports. Earlier, investigators had believed he died from an injection of a hard-to-trace insulin substitute drug intended for diabetics. After she was held, Kokhal’s lawyers told how she was initially accused by detectives of “drinking her dead husband’s blood and having sex with his corpse”.

Kokhal confessed to severing his limbs and keeping some body parts in her fridge, but at the time of her confession, state investigators had no proof from the initial forensic tests that she had killed her husband.

Initially, she had told police she found the rapper dead from a drugs overdose at their elite St Petersburg apartment – and did not want his followers to know he had died such an “inglorious” death.

She aimed to dispose of the rapper’s body and then say he had gone missing.
